I'm a big proponent of self-help books. Reason is simply because we want to be our best. But in 2013, I stopped buying and reading them because, I happened to read a chapter in the one book I had learned to distrust, avoid, and never cared to read because of my ignorance, my lifestyle, and the numerous times I was told I was going to hell by someone holding one. Of all books I ever read, this is the only one that contains all the insight, wisdom, revelation, and truth I needed to take back control of my life.

One particular chapter astounded me, as it sounded nothing like I was ever led to believe, nor were the writings like any, my teachers ever shared in all my years in Catholic School. No expert or therapist ever gave insight into my most intimate emotions as I read for the first time, ancient writings that addressed current personal, and social issues.

Curious, I kept reading till TRUTH was no longer obscured.  I realized I'd been deceived and, trained to pass the deception onto  others. I prayed for forgiveness of my ignorance but wanted  wasted time restored. Not knowing how, I just prayed for understanding and revelation of truth in myself, my family, my world. I prayed for guidance on how to undo so much damage. Warning: when you sincerely  pray for truth, God gives you what you ask for!

Seven years later, joyfully, worry-free, cancer-free, I present, Lemon Lessons🍋- Hard truths presented to those who care to know. Notice I said, "present", not "teach"! Great  teachers don't give you  answers. Rather, they make you think for yourself,  pointing you to multiple sources for you to draw your own conclusions and make informed decisions. Our world can heal, one brave soul at a time, who are willing to admit that there may be a better way. I have never regretted the decision to give my life to Christ in 2015. And oh, what a marvelous journey it has been.!
